Racks
The rattles, also known as ténebres, carrasclas, carrasclas, batzoles... can be made of wood or metal, and are a musical instrument made up of a wooden body and movable hammers.
The hammers are in charge of striking the wood and are operated by means of a crank. As a curiosity, the rattles replace the bells at Easter.
